Easter and Holy Week are a beautiful, central time in our Christian life and church calendar, where we observe the solemn realities of the cross as well as the profound hope of the resurrection. Holy Week this year begins with worship on Sunday, March 24th for Palm Sunday. UBC will also have several events on Good Friday and Easter to observe and celebrate the passion of Jesus.

Good Friday - April 18, 2025
We will be hosting a special prayer station exhibit using the work of artist Scott Erickson. This outdoor display will be geared toward a time of meditation and reflection on the suffering and death of Christ, and its relevance for us today. We will hold this event on the “Point” (outside UBC), and it will be open to the community throughout the day beginning at 10:00 a.m.

We invite our UBC church family to come participate in this exhibit at 5:30 p.m., which will be followed by a light dinner and our Tenebrae Service (starting at 7:00 p.m.). This service, held is the Davis Chapel, is a somber reminder of what Good Friday represents, and prepares our hearts for the glory of Easter. We hope you can come participate!

Easter - Sunday, April 20, 2025
UBC will be worshipping at our normal times of 10:45 a.m. (Foundation Worship) in the Sanctuary and 1:00 p.m. (Fusion Worship) in the Davis Chapel.

There will also be a special event for children at 12:00 on the Point and in our Play Garden; there will be an Easter Egg Hunt and a bounce house for kids to jump for joy on this special day! We will also be holding an Easter Luncheon for everyone in our downstairs fellowship hall! All are welcome to celebrate and enjoy time in community together!

We can't wait to be together this coming Holy Week!
